Upstream Colors — 2013

I bet, you can’t understand 20% of the movie without reading online about it. Director should have released manual for this movie. I watched this 3 times and still some doubts.

There is problem with my mind unless and until i don’t find the truth i have a stomach ace. You know they say ‘Curiosity Kills’. The movies is directed by Shane Carruth who also directed 2004 Sci-Fi Thriller ‘Primer’.

Upstream Color is about two people whose behaviors are affected by a complex parasite — without knowing it — that has a three-stage life cycle in which it passes from humans to pigs to orchids.“A man and woman are drawn together, entangled in the life cycle of an ageless organism. Identity becomes an illusion as they struggle to assemble the loose fragments of wrecked lives.”

Donnie Darko — 2001

Ohh yeah for this movie there is manual to understand the deep meaning of it. Some nerd who watched this movie 100 times made a website ‘http://www.donniedarko.org.uk/explanation/’ to make understand of the movie plot.

Cinema Paradiso — 1988

First its not an english movie second you’ll not find english dubbing version of it. So i watched this movie in pure silence by reading subtitle of it. This movie is about a child named TOTO who loves to watch movie and his journey from village kid to Big Film Producer.

This movies is about dreams, Life, Relationships and Sacrifices. Which leads you to the path of success.

The Intouchables — 2012

A French movie that also you have to watch it in mute if you’re not dumb like me who can’t even understand word’s sweetest language french. Just kidding ;)

The Intouchable is a French buddy comedy-drama film directed by Olivier Nakache & Éric Toledano. It shows the human emotion, trust, friendship and connections. The plot of the film is inspired by the true story of Philippe Pozzo di Borgo and his French-Algerian caregiver Abdel Sellou, discovered by the directors in À la vie, à la mort, a documentary film.

Primer — 2004

Movie from the director of UpStream Colors. This is a long lost movie that only has a cult following. It was made by Shane Carruth who also wrote the story and acted in it. He also produced it, edited it and worked on the production design. Heck, he even did the music for the film. Think he also had a pea sized budged for the film. No CGI, no nothing. Yet he happened to create one of the most complex time travel movies which demands a 6 page explanation with timeline diagrams.

There are many websites and videos that also gives you the real explanation of the movie, Scientifically and Generally.

    • There are also other movies that i like it:

        • Eat Pray Love
        • Life is Beautiful
        • Beautiful Mind
        • Lucy
        • Thank You for Smoking
        • Forest Gump

This is all from my side, do you have any movie collection of yours that you want to share, ping me on Facebook or Twitter anytime. Also you can compare you’re favorite movies on Punchit.io and share it on different social media platforms to get the others perspectives.
