“Run, Forrest! Run!”

Recently i moved to the new city. With that i decided to form new habits in my daily routine. Like I’ll read at least 5 page of any book, i’ll sleep early so that i can wake up early and ‘So that’ i can go for a run, do some exercise.

‘Naah’ that was hard. I’ve to watch so many movies and tv series at night since i’m working whole day i should give a treat to me. Still i put a bet on me, set 20 alarms and decided to watch only 1 episode per night.

And then comes the early morning bumper, alarms did their work well, i shocked, get angry on mobile, cancel all alarms, try to convince my self “Hey Harshdeep, listen. Running is good but remember there is no food in the house so you’ll get nothing after very hard working exercise and running.”

“Do one thing, let wake up early tomorrow and get some banana while coming from work. Now have some sleep you have to go office too.”
This was the sweetest thing some one said to me.

After, 10 days of shifting to this city. Finally i won over my mind, i went for running. And it felt awesome. Don’t ask me how i convinced my mind for this.

Have you guys watched Forrest Gump, if not do watch it. Best movie for dump people like me. You’ll get lot to learn from the movie. I don’t know ‘Am i overreacting or seriously running gives you the clear vision to think?’. So that i did some research. Remember that dialogue from Forrest Gump “I don’t know why i’m running, It just felt like running!”

While running forrest thought of many things “Mama, Lt. Danny, Bubba and most of all Jenny (His love)”. End of running scene he went to meet jenny and happy ending. In conclusion while running you’re brain get so much free time, he tries to connect different dots from your life.

Let go in to some medical studies:

Exercise is able to raise heart rate and increase the flow of oxygen-rich blood in the body, including the brain. A 2013 study published in the journal Frontiers in Aging Neurosciencefound shorter term aerobic exercise, like running, improves brain, cognition, and cardiovascular fitness in healthy aging adults. Sedentary adults who exercise regularly can lead to an increase in brain blood flow to the hippocampus — the key brain region that is affected by Alzheimer’s disease. It’s important to know while physical exercise is associated with a selective or regional brain blood flow, it does not produce a change in global brain blood flow.

Also, you’ll get some free time with you. That time you can able to make some decisions without any pressure can think of some creative ideas or you can solve any problem that you were trying to solve for a long time.
